1983’s “Brainstorm” was an eerie, futuristic film – that got utterly buried by the Hollywood system. But it was more than a film, and attempted to merge a plot about shared brain experiences with a more in-depth and immersive film theater technology, and a deeper connection between the minds that would be watching it.
