No one can terrorize a whole nation, unless we are all his accomplices.”—Edward R. Murrow, broadcast journalist
America is in the midst of an epidemic of historic proportions.
The contagion being spread like wildfire is turning communities into battlegrounds and setting Americans one against the other.
Normally mild-mannered individuals caught up in the throes of this disease have been transformed into belligerent zealots, while others inclined to pacifism have taken to stockpiling weapons and practicing defensive drills.
This plague on our nation—one that has been spreading like wildfire—is a potent mix of fear coupled with unhealthy doses of paranoia and intolerance, tragic hallmarks of the post-9/11 America in which we live and the constantly shifting crises that keep the populace in a state of high alert.
Everywhere you turn, those on both the left- and right-wing are fomenting distrust and division. You can’t escape it.
We’re being fed a constant diet of fear: fear of a virus, fear of the unmasked, fear of terrorists, fear of illegal immigrants, fear of people who are too religious, fear of people who are not religious enough, fear of extremists, fear of the government, fear of those who fear the government.…

All government, in its essence, is a conspiracy against the superior man: it’s one permanent object is to oppress him and cripple him… One of its primary functions is to regiment men by force, to make them as much alike as possible and as dependent upon one another as possible, to search out and combat originality among them.”
~ H. L. Mencken, “Prejudices: Third Series (Le Contrat Social)“. Book by H. L. Mencken, 1922.
At this point in time, ‘hope’ seems to be a consuming factor in the minds of many, as more of my correspondence tends to be critical of hearing the truth. Many want to see good news; they desire only positive messages due to small outbreaks of sanity among the herd and a tiring of doom. While this is a normal reaction after 13 months of lockdown hell, it can also be a very dangerous position to take. This conspiracy that has been planned for decades is not going away quickly or quietly, and the end game sought is closer to completion than ever before. With this knowledge, it is not prudent to dismiss reality in favor of the abandonment of truth.
The ‘Covid’ plot will not subside anytime soon, and the controlling few and their government accomplices have a grand agenda that includes taking over the minds and bodies of all humanity, and creating a global governing system that will rely on very centralized technocratic control.…
According to several mainstream media outlets, there are over 7,000 coronavirus mutations and some could “pose serious risks.” A scientist in India has now said that among these variants N440K is spreading a lot more in the southern states.
Rakesh Mishra, Director of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, said some of the new coronavirus mutations are a risk. Mishra, who is on a team of the CCMB scientists also published a paper on their findings – SARS-CoV-2 genomics: An Indian perspective on sequencing viral variants, said “There are more than 7,000 coronavirus mutations in [India].”
More COIVD-19 Vax Deaths: Think They’ll Blame This On COVID-21?
NBC Bay Area is reporting that at least one variant of the COVID-19 mutations is spreading rapidly in California. The fear is ramping up and we should not expect it to fade anytime soon. Fear is how they get to control and manipulate the masses into their enslavement. We need to wake up.
The study found that cases of the COVID-19 variant first discovered in Denmark have spiked significantly over the past few weeks.
That is a big concern for San Francisco’s COVID-19 Latino Task Force, which continues to see a disproportionate number of new cases among the Latino population.

Poor, wretched, and stupid peoples, nations determined on your own misfortune and blind to your own good! You let yourselves be deprived before your own eyes of the best part of your revenues; your fields are plundered, your homes robbed, your family heirlooms taken away. You live in such a way that you cannot claim a single thing as your own; and it would seem that you consider yourselves lucky to be loaned your property, your families, and your very lives.”
~ Etienne de La Boetie, – “The Politics of Obedience: The Discourse of Voluntary Servitude” – Written 1552-1553
What has befallen humanity? Why are we facing an end to freedom, beauty, and happiness? Why are so many fooled over and over again? Why has stupidity replaced sanity and logic? Why are the masses bound to darkness instead of accepting reality and truth? Why do the many without resisting allow themselves to be controlled by the few? Even the weakest animal in the wild would muster a defense in order to protect life and home, so why is the human animal cowering in fear while their lives and families are being destroyed? Cowardice has replaced strength, ignorance has replaced intellect, blind obedience has replaced self-responsibility, and what remains is a society consumed by indifference.…
Witnessing the panoply of beauty in all of nature takes us out of our shell of self-absorption and makes us realize that we are merely bit players in the game of life. Witnessing the majesty of beauty confirms that the real show lies outside us to observe and appreciate and not inside us to transfix us. True beauty charms us into seeing the grandeur of goodness that surrounds us and by doing so, the pristine splendor of nature releases us from wallowing in the poverty of our self-idealization. The bewitching spell cast by the exquisiteness of nature levitates our souls and transforms our psyche. When we see, hear, taste, smell, or touch what is beautiful, we cannot suppress the urge to replicate its baffling texture by singing, dancing, painting, or writing. Opening our eye to the loveliness of a single flower is how we stay in touch with the glorious pageantry of living.”
~ Kilroy J. Oldster, Dead Toad Scrolls
In order for ugliness and evil to conquer beauty, first beauty must be made to seem ugly and evil. If beauty is feared, if it is portrayed as a threat to life, then an intentional manipulation of the human mind and psyche can cause a flight from beauty so as to gain protection from concocted harm.…

Reading the late Hans Rosling’s 2018 book, Factfulness, during the summer of 2020 creates a sensation of surrealness that would have been absent had I read this volume in 2018 or 2019. On nearly every page of Factfulness Rosling busts the popular myth that we denizens of modernity face imminent calamities that will destroy us and the earth. Widespread fears – such as of overpopulation, of terrorism, and of the rich getting richer while the poor stagnate – are methodically revealed to be either completely unjustified or exorbitantly exaggerated.
But today, in the midst of the ongoing lockdowns and with no end in sight to the hysteria over COVID, I’ve lost all of the natural optimism that has long resided within me and that would have otherwise been fortified by Rosling’s splendid work.
The image that keeps coming into my head is of a sledgehammer. With brute force, a blunt and heavy instrument was swung down on society by the state. Sledgehammers crush. They demolish. That’s their only function. They do not build. And for as long as the dreadful weight of this particular sledgehammer – the massive mallet that is the COVID-19 lockdown – continues to press down on the rubble that it caused, there is very little opportunity for the human creativity and work effort unleashed by markets to bring about the kind of improvements that Rosling documents.…
