Freedom from Fear: Stop Playing the Government’s Mind Games

The Rutherford Institute

By John W. Whitehead & Nisha Whitehead

No one can terrorize a whole nation, unless we are all his accomplices.”—Edward R. Murrow, broadcast journalist

America is in the midst of an epidemic of historic proportions.

The contagion being spread like wildfire is turning communities into battlegrounds and setting Americans one against the other.

Normally mild-mannered individuals caught up in the throes of this disease have been transformed into belligerent zealots, while others inclined to pacifism have taken to stockpiling weapons and practicing defensive drills.

This plague on our nation—one that has been spreading like wildfire—is a potent mix of fear coupled with unhealthy doses of paranoia and intolerance, tragic hallmarks of the post-9/11 America in which we live and the constantly shifting crises that keep the populace in a state of high alert.

Everywhere you turn, those on both the left- and right-wing are fomenting distrust and division. You can’t escape it.

We’re being fed a constant diet of fear: fear of a virus, fear of the unmasked, fear of terrorists, fear of illegal immigrants, fear of people who are too religious, fear of people who are not religious enough, fear of extremists, fear of the government, fear of those who fear the government.…

The Politicians We Need

Lew Rockwell

By Laurence M. Vance

Fair Haven, Vermont, chartered in 1779, is a town of less than 3,000 people noted for its late nineteenth-century architecture. But this is not what makes the town unique.

Fair Haven operates under a council–manager government with a town manager and a five-member board to supervise the local government. There is no mayor. Instead, an animal is chosen as mayor every year in a ceremonial mayoral election. In 2020, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Murfee was elected as mayor. Last month, in a race that contained nineteen candidates—including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and birds—the incumbent dog mayor was reelected to a second term.

This is just the kind of politicians we need.

With politicians like this, the government—

Won’t start wars.

Won’t order the bombing of other countries.

Won’t punish people for engaging in entirely peaceful, voluntary, and consensual actions that do not aggress against the person or property of others.

Won’t violate the non-aggression principle.

Won’t subsidize anything.

Won’t regulate business or industry.

Won’t ban substances.

Won’t take people’s resources against their will, by force if necessary, and transfer or redistribute them to other citizens or foreigners.

Won’t violate property rights.

Won’t require vaccine passports.…

Humanity’s Great Fight-Back

Activist Post

It must be occurring to millions of individuals, upon observing the depressing spectacle of top-down politics in action, that in the great majority of cases what are termed ‘governments’ are no longer in any way fit to govern.

It must be dawning on many millions, possibly billions, that those who have been elected to represent the needs and interests of the people, are spectacularly failing in this role.

It must fast be becoming a reality for the great majority of people still able to think, that our world is in the hands of those who display none of the attributes that would pass for ‘leadership’, but an abundance of almost precisely the opposite attributes.

In fact, thinkers must surely observe that the majority of those holding the reins of power adhere only to their own private narcissistic agendas and have no interest in the health and welfare of the people they are elected to support. What’s more, they will observe that the politician of today is, by and large, a compliant puppet to the deep state whose agenda is totalitarian global dominance and mass depopulation.

The chimera called Covid-19 has been, and remains, extremely effective at highlighting the criminal duplicity of the planet’s leaders in almost all spheres of state and corporate administration.…

All Politicians Are Non-Essential: Therefore, All Government Is Non-Essential

Lew Rockwell

Could anything on this earth be less essential than a politician? I think not. Throughout history, the politician has been the scum of the earth; the worst form of human, even lower than any car salesman or lawyer; well, most lawyers, as the most common vocation of high level politicians is the “law.” Of course, there is good reason for this, for in order to work around laws, one must be intimately familiar of all loop holes in said “law.” Some of those politicians are well known, mostly because of the carnage they inflicted on mankind. Some examples would include Genghis Kahn, Mao Zedong, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini, Pol Pot, Kim Jong II, Winston Churchill, and Adolf Hitler to name just a few. I would add most U.S. presidents, and many in the U.S. Congress as well, simply because as a whole, they have been responsible for more innocent people being murdered than any other of those named. And of course, last but not least, Satin himself was certainly a consummate politician, and fits in nicely with this bunch.
